Patrick L. Porter
Patrick Porter graduated from The University of Tulsa in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering. He is currently the Vice President of Reservoir Engineering, Midcontinent, at Range Resources - Midcontinent, LLC. Patrick has been based in Oklahoma throughout his career, but he has had the opportunity to work basins across the United States. His primary focus has been tight gas, which migrated to unconventional plays such as the Granite Wash and Woodford Shales. His most recent focus has been on the Northern Oklahoma Mississippi play and St. Louis in the Texas Panhandle.
Patrick has been married to Kelly for 22 years and they have two children. Allison is a senior at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Geology with a Petroleum Emphasis, and Jacob is a freshman at The University of Tulsa majoring in Management Information Systems.
