Ken OglesbyKen Oglesby has 38 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and associated industries. He previously worked for Oak Resources, Inc., CNG Producing, Mapco Oil and Gas, and Chevron USA operating companies.  He is currently Owner and President of Impact Technologies LLC, a technology development company, and Vice-President of Acorn Resources, Inc., an oil and gas and commercial real estate investment company. Impact is developing 20 new technologies for the oil and gas and related fields, including two advanced drilling systems  and SPI conformance gels for waterfoods, CO2 floods and drilling applications.

Ken received a Bachelor of Science degree in petroleum engineering from The University of Tulsa (TU) in 1976. He earned a Master of Science also from TU in 1980.  He currently serves on the Industry Advisory Board for the TU McDougall Scholl of Petroleum Engineering, where he previously served as Chairman. He is a 40-year member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE), Chairman of the SPE Mid-Continent Section, Regional Director of the SPE Mid-Continent region serving on the SPE board. He was the General Chairman of the 2004 SPE-DOE Improved Oil Recovery Symposium and Conference in Tulsa, OK.  Ken holds 35 patents and patents-pending related to oil and gas and drilling system inventions.  He is a professional petroleum engineer registered in the state of Oklahoma since 1978.
