Stuart Cox
Stuart Cox retired from Marathon Oil Corporation in September, 2013, and subsequently joined PetroEdge Energy III LLC, where he is the Vice President of Reservoir Engineering. Before retiring, Stuart was Marathon's Chief Reservoir Engineer for unconventional resource developments. He has 30 years of industry experience focused primarily on operations and reservoir engineering. Since 1994 Stuart's primary focus has been evaluation and production optimization of tight gas and unconventional oil and gas reservoirs. Stuart is a Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Distinguished Lecturer 2009-2010. In 2012 he received the SPE Gulf Coast Region Formation Evaluation Award. He graduated from The University of Tulsa with a B.S. degree in Petroleum Engineering in 1984 and is a registered professional engineer in Alaska and Oklahoma.
